Operation: Fly NC Rubber Stamp Locations
*Most of the rubber stamps will be located behind the Fixed Based Operators (FBO's) customer service desk. Here is a list of the airports where the stamp will be located in an alternate location:
 
  • Ashe Co. (GEV), get signature from this location. Stamp on order.
  • Cape Hatteres (HSE), Billy Mitchell Airport. Stamp is located in the "open access" area beside the WX Monitor Screen (cubby area). Hyde County Airport (7W6), Engelhard, NC. Stamp located in an "Operation: Fly NC" mailbox at the main building (unattended).
  • Kill Devil Hills (FFA), First Flight Airport, Kill Devil Hills, NC. Stamp located in the runway side pilot building in the cabinet above the WX computer. Don't forget to visit the museum across the field for an additional qualifying stamp (Park Service Stamp OK) located on the wall next to the cash register. (see picture). 
  •  Laurinburg-Maxton Airport (MEB), Maxton, NC. Stamp is in the FBO on weekdays and on top of the soft drink machine on weekends. This is due to the FBO being closed on weekends. 
  • Martin County Airport (MCZ), Williamston, NC. Stamp located in an "Operation: Fly NC" mailbox to the right side of the stairs to the FBO.(see pictures)
  • Montgomery County Airport (43A), Star, NC. Stamp located in an "Operation: Fly NC" mailbox.(see pictures)
  • Ocracoke, NC (W95) Stamp is in building (enter standard VFR transponder code for access). Look in pilot computer desk.
  •  Roanoke Rapids (RZZ), please obtain stamp at the new airport, Halifax-North Hampton (IXA).
  • Southeast Greensboro Airport (3A4), Greensboro, NC. Stamp located in an "Operation: Fly NC" mailbox to the right of the blue main office hangar (front side of building, end of sidewalk).
  • Star, NC Montgomery Co. Airport. Stamp is in an "Operation Fly NC" mailbox inbetween the two main aircraft hangars to the left of the FBO entrance (standing infront of building).

  • Tarboro-Edgecombe Airport (ETC), Tarboro, NC. Stamp located in the small pilots lounge building, in the middle desk drawer. (see picture)
  • Transsylvania Co. Airport (22W), Brevard, NC. Important: Due to litigation the airport is now considered Private Use/Private Owned with several restrictions. Please contact Randy Bagby, Airport Mgr. (828) 877-5801 for a required briefing and permission to fly into the airport.
